Johnson Lake Resort Johnson Lake is a high mountain lake. At 3,800 feet elevation, it is over 5 kms. long, and approximately 200 feet deep. Kamloops Rainbow Trout fishing is best in June and July - 1.5 to 2 lb. trout are common, with 3 to 5 pounders waiting for the presentation of that special fly or lure. The most popular fishing method on Johnson is trolling a fly. Adjoining Johnson Lake by way of a spawning channel is "Little Johnson Lake", where the resort is situated. From small rustic cabins to a large two bedroom cabin with all the amenities (except bedding and towels), these cabins provide all the warmth and shelter needed to enjoy the natural beauty of this tiny hidden valley year-round. The self-contained cabins overlook Little Johnson Lake. Map & Directions
