Camp Lake St. Joseph Lake St. Joseph is a large fresh water lake with a wilderness designation which requires a special permit to fish. Access to the lake is restricted because of the designation. Non-residents who wish to fish the lake will have to stay at one of the fishing camps which operate on the lake. The primary species that will be found on the lake include: Walleye, Northern Pike and Yellow Perch. Lake St. Joseph produces many trophy sized Northern Pike ranging anywhere between 40 and 50 inches in length or more. Each housekeeping cabin comes equipped with: • Hot and cold running water • A propane refrigerator and stove • Propane heater and lights • Dishes, pots, pans and cutlery • Electric lights • Shower and sink.
