Highwind Lake Camp      is a small, family owned camp located 35 miles SE of Kenora, Ontario. Highwind Lake is approximately three miles long, with one large island and 5 smaller islands. The shoreline is rugged rock formations with lovely sand beaches in between. The fishing opportunities in Highwind are varied with Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Northern Pike. Highwind has portages to Ethelma Lake on the west end, two on the south end. Porcus Lake on the east and to Hillock Lake. We offer campsites and 4 housekeeping cabins with cold running water in the kitchens. We have a modern washroom/shower house facility. It has a men's and lady's washroom with flush toilets and sinks, 4 large, single shower rooms. This is centrally located near to our cabins and campground and will be available for use from spring to fall.   Map & Directions
