North Star Village       is located on the shore of the historic Winnipeg River in the Hamlet of Minaki, 32 miles north of Kenora. Today, the Winnipeg River System still boasts a healthy multi-species fishery containing Trophy Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass. There are also Crappies, Tullibee, Whitefish, Goldeye, and Sturgeon in these waters. Trout are accessible in nearby lakes not connected to the Winnipeg River. Our cabins have all the luxuries of a true home away from home. You can venture out into the wilds by day and fish, then bring it to your cabin and prepare your feast. There are full kitchens, complete with plates and silverware. All that you have to provide is the food and drinks that you want to enjoy while staying with us.    Map & Directions
