Woods Cabins Come experience OBA LAKE... Located in northern Ontario 212 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, this remote lake is 14 miles long with numerous bays, islands and 50 miles of untouched shoreline which borders Chapleau Game Preserve, the largest in north America. It's accessible only by train or plane and offers some of Canada's finest fishing for walleyes, large northern pike, jumbo perch and white fish. There's no electricity, no noisy generators, just the haunting calls of loons and gentle waves lapping at the shore to lull you to sleep at the end of the your memorable day. Walleye and pike fishing is great throughout the whole season, while perch are easier to catch in the spring. Whitefish are plentiful during the Mayfly hatch, which usually occurs the first week in July. Map & Directions
