Meekos Outfitters   Where rustic means comfort!   Our rustic-looking cottages are built of logs. They are fully equipped to ensure that you enjoy a very comfortable stay. Except for the off-site cottages, you have access to electricity and all have a bathroom with a shower and running water. Set limits for each lake and a system of annual rotation have allowed the native brook trout(speckled trout) to multiply to the extent that it teems in most of the 135 lakes on our exclusive territory, thus providing exceptional fishing. It is also possible to fish for other species at Mekoos, where there are two lakes with walleye, five lakes with good populations of lake trout (lake char) and one lake with northern pike.   Map & Directions
