Silence of the North Mirond Lake has three main species, Walleye, Northern Pike, and Yellow Perch. Walleye are a popular species. They range in size from 2 to 5 lbs. Northern Pike are great fun to catch. Average keepers at 3 to 6 lbs with trophies from 10 lbs and up. We have two day-use lakes, Cornelle Lake and Parenteau Lake that are otherwise accessible by flight. Because they are close to Mirond they can be reached by portage, and save you the cost of the flight. (We still will arrange a flight for you if you wish to fly in for a day of fishing.) We have 10 modern cabins. They are all lake front, with spacious decks overlooking the lake. All cabins are set among tall trees, and are log, including the inside walls. They are cool in the summer and warm in the winter, and the perfect spot to enjoy a week of solitude. Map & Directions
